General care

The Golda Hardware brand follows the philosophy of genuineness, so we use solid metals such as brass and stainless steel in our products. Such products need care and attention.

The main recommendations for care:

• do not use brushes or sponges with coarse, stiff bristles. It is sufficient to wipe with a regular cloth, dry or wet, to remove dust or light dirt;
• do not use surface cleaners containing abrasive particles. Complex or aggressive formulations with a different set of chemicals may cause corrosion;

Finish

Unlacquered brass products

Unlacquered brass lives its life side by side with a person, darkens over time and can show traces of patina. The natural appearance of patina and darkening of the metal is organically combined with wood and leather, immersing you in the atmosphere of antiquity.

Lacquered brass products

To stabilize the metal and prevent corrosion, the handles are covered with a protective transparent lacquer that repeats the texture of satin brass. With a lacquered finish, the handle will have its original look for years.

Stainless steel products

Stainless steel handles stay in their original finish and do not need to be lacquered.
